Design & Analysis
PCC utilizes best-in-class design tools that deliver integrated, high performance design, simulation and documentation. PCC has a wealth of experience in the design of pressure vessels, mechanisms, machines and structures. PCC is an ASME Certificate holder for Sections III and VIII for both design and fabrication.
When necessary, finite element analysis (FEA) can be used to validate design concepts. Our primary FEA package is Siemens NX. PCC has the ability to perform a wide variety of mechanical simulations such as linear and nonlinear static analyses, dynamic response analysis, fatigue/durability analysis, thermal analysis, buckling analysis, vibration and seismic analyses, etc.
In addition, PCC has the ability to analyze ASME Section VIII pressure vessels using Codeware’s COMPRESS software.
PCC’s CAD/CAM technology supports the clients’ need for generating high quality engineering documents. Through solid modelling we are able to offer rapid design verification and accurate quality documentation. PCC offers cost effective CAD/CAM services to supplement the clients’ staff. PCC employees are thoroughly versed with geometric dimensioning and tolerancing.
Our CAD/CAM services include solid modelling, mass property analysis, drafting services, drawing reviews, tolerance stack-up analysis, manufacturability reviews and CNC programming.
